The Apostle Paul sharp mind was filled with doctrine, but his heart was full of people.
He remembered them by their names, their careers; he knew their relatives; he prayed for them…
This combination of commitment to truth, love and compassion for people is the hallmark of everyone who, like Paul, reflects the mind and heart of Christ.
God sends certain people in our lives for certain reasons and it’s good to recognize them and align with them. The reason relationships matter a lot is because people matter. Life is better together.
I have experienced this in my few years in ministry.
